ArkenI biked to the museum of modern art Arken today. What a wonderful museum that is! Too bad half of it is closed for rebuilding. But there still was a nice exhibition called Mad Love with pieces from Danish collectors. I think I’ve found myself a new favourite artist in David Shrigley.

Sankt HansLike I wrote in last post, my friend Robin was over for Sankt Hans (the Danish midsummer night). Traditionally they burn the heathens on this night and we watched them do this at Islands Brygge after listening to the speech of the mayor of København.

The new Metro underground extension to Copenhagen International Airport will open a month ahead of schedule, reported Berlingske Tidende newspaper Friday.

‘It’s very satisfying that we’re able to open the third stage of the Metro ahead of schedule and within the budget,’ said Jens Kramer Mikkelsen, the corporation’s managing director.

So why do Dutch building projects ALWAYS finish later than schedule and way over budget?
