It was actually a joke me and A. had about that foreign guys always would tell you that they used to have a danish gf but that they were dumped as soon as a girl told them she was from Denmark. So we figured we should print shirts and sell them at IKEA (and I’m NOT claiming that IKEA is danish here).

I think you should make a version for gay people too. (for me LOL) But why not add “at IKEA” to the last sentence…(one can never make too much jokes about Swedes or IKEA!

Some of the options confuse me, now:
‘I had a Danish girlfriend, but she dumped me’
‘I had a Danish girlfriend, but he dumped me’
‘I had a Danish boyfriend, but she dumped me’
‘I had a Danish boyfriend, but he dumped me’
I second the ‘at ikea’ suggestion.
I wonder which department there gets most breakups.
‘we were fighting over Billy/Gustav/Fredrik/Andrea/Hanna/Lisel’
All desks are male, curtains are female. That’s not my statement, but Ikea policy ( http://www.margaret-marks.com/Transblawg/archives/000302.html)
